What is MPI?

MPI is as simple as using 6 functions and as complicated as a user wishes to make it. While flexible and easy to use, MPI can sometimes be intimidating to use. This page provides a number of references useful for getting started with MPI (or becoming a "power user"). If you are getting started, we also recommend a number of tutorials and the LAM/MPI Documentation.
